Quality Partnership Paves the Way to Success: Medical Gas Pipelines Ltd
Leaders in Innovation
We were the first British manufacturer to ensure our medical-grade copper tubing was produced and supplied in accordance with the EN 13348 standard, and we have continued to hold ourselves to high standards ever since.
In the mid-2000s, we invested more than £500,000 to develop a new degreaser, providing us with one of the most advanced cleaning machines on the market.
Today, our unique and meticulous Lawton Cleaning Technique, involving hand inspection and cleaning, ensures our finished product has a maximum total carbon content of 0.20 mg/dm2, helping to protect the most vulnerable from harmful pathogens that could otherwise thrive in contaminated pipework.
Quality Partnerships with Quality Companies/Suppliers
Our high standards of quality and supply are precisely why Medical Gas Pipelines Ltd chose us to supply their installation for the Brighton 3Ts / Louisa Martindale Building Phase 1 project.
The installation spanned 11 floors requiring medical gas connections, using various pipe sizes ranging from 15mm to 159mm.
By the final completion of the project, we had supplied approximately 30,000 metres of pipe to Medical Gas Pipelines Ltd over a two-year period, serving a 28-bed ITU, seven theatres, five large wards and an imaging department.
“Lawton Tubes have always been a consistently reliable partner — before, during and after the Brighton 3T’s project. Throughout the works their products met every requirement, and even at the height of the Covid pandemic they continued to deliver without interruption. Their ongoing commitment to quality and dependable supply played a vital role in keeping our medical-gas installations on schedule during one of the industry’s most challenging periods.”
Craig Hurst, National Installation Manager at Medical Gas Pipelines Ltd
We are incredibly proud of the vital work completed thanks to our partnership with Medical Gas Pipelines Ltd, and we look forward to supplying them in future installations.
