• Standard Returns (Change of Mind): 30 days
• Stock Cleanse: Up to 6 months

• Standard Returns: Yes, change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days.
• Stock Cleanse: Change-of-mind does not apply.

• Yes, a 25% restocking charge or processing charge applies to both Standard Returns and Stock Cleanse.
• There are also customer specific restocking charges.  If unsure, Sales Support will confirm restocking charge when request is submitted.
• Cancelled before Invoice: There is no restocking charge if order is cancelled before invoice

• Refunds are issued only with an order number.
• If no order number is provided, the refund will be based on scrap value minus the 25% processing fee.

Yes, photos of the stock’s condition are required before approval can be granted.  There does need to be pictures of all of the stock being returned.  You can photograph many items at the same time as long as the condition is clear.  If the items are bagged and labelled the labels need to be readable.

• If Lawton Transport Company (LTC) is already making a delivery, they may collect the return at the same time.
• LTC will make a maximum of two collection attempts—after this, the return request will be cancelled or the customer can courier the good in themselves.
• If LTC is not collecting, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return transport.

Yes. If items are:

• Damaged
• Not in original bags or boxes
• Affected by water damage or tarnishing
• Product was bespoke
• Product is now obsolete

Then only scrap value minus a 25% processing fee will be refunded.
Additionally, the business reserves the right to refuse returns where it suspects:

• The policy is being used to manipulate rebate levels
• The policy is being used to take advantage of metal price fluctuations

• Empty crate collection is not guaranteed.
• Customers can request collection, which may be approved on a case by case basis by Operations.
• Approval depends on:
  • Available space on the collection vehicle
  • Capacity at Lawton’s facility

How to request:

• Contact Sales Support ([email protected])
• Confirm the request when Lawton calls to arrange next delivery

• This will be an 8 digit number that starts with 01.  It would be on any order acknowledgement as well as any delivery paperwork provided for an order.
• Please call or contact Sales Support and they can if unsure on Lawton Order Number.

• After the online form is filled in Sales Support will initially respond to confirm that all information is correct and initiate the return process.
• If the stock is going to be collected from Lawton, our driver will arrive with collection paperwork.  The items should be ready for collection and mark up with the original Lawton order numbers
• If the customer is returning stock, it should be marked clearly with the Lawton order numbers and marked clearly as RETURNS
• The stock will be inspected and if in good condition to be returned from stock then Finance will proceed to issue Credit Note and will confirm once credit note is issued
• Customer will be contacted if there are queries with Operations or Finance.
