The difference is small, but this small difference in composition makes a massive change to the mechanical properties of the tube. 2% Iron is what gives K65 its strength and ability to be used in high pressure applications. Each tube is clearly marked, but if the marking is not available, a simple magnetic test would work.

Yes, 130bar tubes are now in stock as a full range.  For K65 80, tube sizes range from 1/2″-2,1/8”

K65 120bar tube size range is 3/8” – 2,1/8”

K65 130bar tube size range is 3/8” – 2,5/8”

Yes, K65 tube, because it’s composition is very similar to that of copper, tubes can be flared, swaged and bent with no affect to the working pressure (ie 80bar, 120bar or 130bar).

We would recommend a 5% Silver Brazing alloy for joining of K65.
