In plumbing, copper tubes have long been a popular choice. This is due to a combination of different properties and factors. Copper tubes are known for their long lifespan, with tubes often lasting over 75 years. In plumbing, copper can withstand high water pressure and temperature fluctuations, and it naturally resists corrosion, therefore preventing rust.  

As well as this, copper also has antimicrobial properties, meaning that it inhibits the growth of bacteria and makes it safe to hold and transport drinking water. For plumbing in particular, copper tubes can be easily shaped and bent which allows for flexible installation in a variety of plumbing scenarios.  

Although other materials, such as plastic, offer some advantages, copper’s versatility and reliability are the biggest drivers behind its continued use in plumbing systems.

• End Feed Fittings – from 8mm to 219mm, manufactured to EN 1254-1
• Solder Ring Fittings – from 8mm to 54mm, manufactured to EN 1254-1, containing lead-free solder
• Compression Fittings – from 8mm to 54mm, manufactured to EN1254-2
• Brass and Chrome Pipe Fixings– from 12mm to 159mm in all size threads

Our minimum delivery is generally 1,000kg for tube.
