Approved Press Tools

Lawton 316L Gas Press Fittings are approved for use with M-profile pressing systems from:

  • Novopress
  • Geberit
  • Rothenberger
  • REMS

Important: Matching press tools, adaptors, jaws and slings from the same manufacturer must always be used during installation.

Material Compatibility

Dissimilar Metals

Installations containing mixed metals should generally be avoided, as galvanic corrosion may occur when dissimilar metals are connected directly together.

Where mixed-metal systems are unavoidable:

  • Follow Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998.
  • Apply recognised good engineering practice.
  • Consider appropriate isolation measures where necessary.

Grade Compatibility

  • 304 and 316L stainless steel tubes and fittings can be used within the same system.
  • Overall corrosion resistance will be determined by the least corrosion-resistant component used.
