We’re proud sponsors of our local community festival KenFest for the second year running! This weekend festival is an important feature of the local population of Kenilworth and the surrounding area, and serves to highlight the sense of community felt by all involved.
Supporting community events is important to all of us at Lawton Tubes, and our Financial Director, was one of those who took part in the KenFest bike ride, kickstarting the entire weekend off.
This was a fantastic event to show just how much we care for the local community, and with all proceeds going to two deserving charities, Myton Hospice and the British Heart Foundation, it was truly a lovely day out for a worthwhile cause. The bike ride raised a total of £4800, a great effort from the community!
Our Financial Director, said:
“As a family company, the community feel of KenFest is something that is recognised and highly valued at Lawton Tubes. I’ve been enjoying bike rides for xyz years now, so it was lovely to be able to put our funds towards such a great event.”
We also ran a competition alongside the event, with CopperMan offering out Lawton Tubes merchandise for those lucky enough to spot him!
The sky matched the sponsored cycle tops, and our Lawton Tubes branded sunglasses (that will be given away at this year’s InstallerSHOW), and the event was fun for all the family overall!
