Celebrating Plumbing’s Best
Copperman himself, Robert Lawton, and PB Plumber’s Peter Booth are both passionate about engaging with the plumbing community and the more people they’ve met, the more inspiring stories they’ve heard.
That’s why the pair are joining forces to commend those who are helping the industry to thrive!
The LPB Awards recognises the outstanding contributions of plumbers and colleges to the plumbing community as nominated by you!
Submit your nominations by the deadline on the 31st of May 2023.
We’re honoured to have Frank Bruno, the former world heavyweight boxing champion, presenting the Plumber’s Plumber of the Year Award at this year’s InstallerSHOW!
It’s a privilege to have Frank as part of the show, especially as Lawton Tubes has selected the Frank Bruno Foundation as our charity partner. We are proud to support this important cause and look forward to seeing Frank, celebrating alongside our impactful plumbers in June.

The Plumber’s Plumber of the Year Award will go to the plumber who has had a profound, positive impact on the plumbing community.
That might be a well-established plumber who’s generously shared their knowledge with new starters, or someone who’s given advice and encouragement to fellow plumbers whether professionally or with their mental health.
The finalists will be invited to the Installer Show 2023 where the winner will be announced at 2 pm on the 28th of June 2023.
The winner will:
- Be awarded a winner’s trophy
- Receive a personalised Velocity kit bag
- Be taken out to dinner with Robert Lawton, Peter Booth and fellow finalists
The runners-up will:
- Receive a runner-up prize
- Be taken out to dinner with Robert Lawton, Peter Booth and fellow finalists
The Plumber’s College of the Year Award will be given to the college department that has best supported and encouraged its plumbing students.
We’re looking to honour colleges and lecturers that go the extra mile in supporting their students, those who truly inspire the next generation of plumbers.
The winning college will receive:
- A Plumber’s College of the Year trophy
- A paid trip for plumbing students to attend the Installer Show on 29th of June 2023 – including Special Access tickets, £250 towards travel expenses, lunch and refreshments
- A college visit from Robert Lawton and Peter Booth
- £1000 worth of kit for the college’s plumbing workshop
